Ever wanted to be in an environment where you can only hear the animals around you? Where nature is everywhere and in abundance?

Where if you stay still and watch you will see and hear the wildlife pass you?

Well, Amazonas is for you!

We have various options in Amazonas for you from sleeping in the jungle in a hammock, wooden traditional Amazonas homes with a fan to a fishing lodge with air conditioning.

We are very lucky where we live and work, we can drink from the creeks in the jungle and the underground springs that give us filtered water in the dry season.

Our river is also rich in wildlife, River Dolphins pass every day, we have Otters and even the Giant River Otter resides in our waterways. All our fish are caught locally and depending on your trip you be catching piranhas off the beach or out of a canoe. Even lure fishing for the famous Tucurane ( Peacock Bass ).

Amazonas has to be one of the most unique places in the world and a place everyone should see at least once in their life. The vast amount of species that call it home is truly amazing. I found a passion for mushrooms when I first got there. The colors, shapes, and sizes were incredible.

If you sit still you will encounter something beautiful for sure, whether it's monkey’s overhead or Blue Morpho butterflies floating past your face, to even the famous leaf-cutting ants around your feet. Those who are quiet and lucky will even see tayra's, paca's, and anteaters pass on through and the rare few who catch our resident jaguars and pumas pass the trail ahead of us.

For me, my favorite thing in the world is swinging in my hammock watching and listening to what’s around me and how small I am in this big jungle.

Now to my little Brother Mr. Gabriel!

Gabriel is a real people person, always smiling, laughing, kind, and looking out for everyone, with all his kindness and huge heart, he's also the most fearless guy I know.

He is out in the jungle creeks with his bow and arrow he makes himself, even into the darkness of the jungle night on his own before returning with fish for the tourist’s dinner.

There’s also his remarkable habit of always finding snakes or snakes finding him.

He's a true indigenous young man who's doing his people proud with his knowledge and hardworking and kindness.
