DONATE / VOLUNTEER
Thanks for clicking through to the Donate / Volunteer page, just to open the page means you've thought about it, so I thank you regardless of whether you donate or not.
Our conservation project needs funding like any other conservation program in the world, I've put my money into this project and region over the years, and my heart and soul into my work and even this website. We all make commitments and sacrifices in life and mine have been to explore, understand, and protect this Amazon Rainforest, since I first got here. There aren't many places in the world that leave you feeling so small, that makes you forget your life outside this tightly knitted living and breathing wonder on Earth.
We're trying to get households from all over the world to think about what a small sacrifice can do, little bits of money from people that can help us replant cleared areas.
Small regular donations help us buy native fruit seedlings from the communities, help us pay local workers for their labor, whether it be planting trees, construction, or jungle expeditions to find rarer seedlings.
All this creates a closer community in our region, people here want to support a program that helps put food on their table for their families, or even pay for their bus fare to the nearest town.
Whatever you can commit to, that money puts trees in the ground for our planet and helps our communities see that environmental business can support local communities.
However you donate, as little as GBP 1, USD 1, or AUD 2 a week makes a difference, and I don't think that's not achievable in most people's households today. If we can get enough of you to set up a regular donation into our PayPal account, we are all making an effort to turn back time on something that's so vitally important to every one of us.
Something that gave us our first breath and someday our last?
Can we show gratitude and be grateful for something we take without thinking?
So if it's something you considered worthy?
You're going to want to know where your money goes right? So below I've given you some information as to how much a donation can make and where we'll use it.
$1 - $2
A donation of $1 - $2 a week buys a seedling for us to put in the ground.
$3 - $5
A $3 - $5 donation gives us a chance to choose different varieties and plant at least 2 -3 species a week.
$6 - $10
A donation of $6 - $10 a week pays for us to go into the Jungle once a month and look for harder to find plant species, and bring out seeds and seedlings to replant.
$11 - $20
A $11 - $20 donation gives us a chance to keep expanding and monitoring our network of trail cameras. Which we can use to educate children about the many animals that live here.
$21 - $30
A donation of $21 - $30 a week buys us 4 - 5 rarer seedlings from local suppliers. Supporting locals growers, and a creating an environmental focus in our community and region.
$31 - $40
A $31 - $40 donation a week helps us transport seedlings to other communities and help them grow a variety of trees for their personal reforestation plan, and some fruit for their families.
$41 - $50
A donation of $41 - $50 a week helps us build a shaded nursery to help cultivate more advanced seedlings and faster. This creates a faster reforestation program to us and the region.
$51 - $60
$51 - $60 donation a week helps us construct a solar powered energy system. Reducing our running costs and labour intensive work, helping us to put extra money and time into environmental studies and replanting our region and our community.
